@shelby3 the SJCL library also uses the built-in browser RNG for entropy.

@dcousens, yes but not exclusively. It is adding entropy from the built-in browser RNG if it is available. If startCollectors is called, then mouse entropy is also added. Apparently the offending code could simply be deleted to revert to exclusively mouse generated entropy.

you can substitute your own random number generator by over writing elliptic.rand e.g. elliptic.rand = require('crypto').randomBytes; to use the node one
