I decided to look for a solution to this problem again. As it turned out, in the material design there is no way to get the ID of the button "back" to set handler on it. And it is necessary to completely change the method of displaying the settings, like here

@johnd0e Plugins screen is implemented differently. Unfortunately, I can't explain more, because I have little experience in java development.
