WebAPI for create user, login. about identityserver3 HOT 4 CLOSED

These don't exists in IdSvr -- IdMgr sort of has these APIs, but they're still a work in progress.

IdSrv does not do user management. It is a token service. IdMgr will have that functionality.

I got the impression that IdMgr was a replacement for the old user management we had with asp.net membership provider. Is it your goal to make IdMgr a full featured user managment application where also users can login and manage their profile ect? Maybe IdMrg will authenticate against idSrv also.

Would make it really easy for companies to start new projects(APIS) if they can just put up a idsrv and idmgr application and redirect users to idmgr for all profile stuff and idsrv for tokens.

But I would assume most companies will have custom signup flows and they have to customize idMgr anyhow.

The long term plan is to make it an admin + self service tool. Including change password / reset / register etc... for now it's a proof of concept ;)
