this has been asked before, see #183 (however with the ability to control playback).

My comment in that issue still makes sense.

If you want to simply view currently played item and current playlist content, implementing custom web interface shouldn't be that hard, probably you already have some web site for your radio.

Thanks for your answer.
I used your plugin like this.
A Foobar2000 was running on my root server, your plugin was installed there and available via...port.
The archive was loaded into Foobar via SMB (via VPN). (at home)
They couldn't play anything anyway, since there is no sound card on the server, so it doesn't matter.
The connection with 50Mbit/s upload should not be a problem here.
The idea worked quite well, unfortunately the loading times were not acceptable at all and when changing the directory (return) everything had to be reloaded again.

I think that without reading the data once into an SQL database that is stored on the server and only a transfer takes place during play, it is not feasible.

What I really liked was that the GUI was displayed like the titles and artists. Maybe you can still add bit rate, etc. Unfortunately the search field was missing ;-(

I then used the Snap2HTML tool, which generates a list of search properties and I'm quite happy with it.
