@PaleNeutron, I think it would be something like this:


const [chartInstance, setChartInstance] = useState<ECharts | undefined>() // state of chart instance
...
const onDataZoom = (params: unknown) => { // I don't remember type, sorry =(
    if(chartInstance && !chartInstance.isDisposed()) {
        const currentOptions = chartInstance.getOptions() // get options of chart
       <find and modify dataZoom section of currentOptions>
       chartInstance.setOptions(currentOptions) // save new options
    }
} 
...
<ReactECharts
    onChartReady={obj => setChartInstance(obj)}
    option={options}
    onEvents={
        {
          dataZoom: onDataZoom
        }}
/>

You also can use chartInstance.on('dataZoom', onDataZoom) (it's my choice)
