Sadly, looks like I can't transfer it to other users: "You can only transfer a repository from an organization to yourself at this time" - happy to transfer to an org instead if you've got one.

I have an org, would be happy to take it on board. Other option is to transfer from humanmade > rmccue > nathanielks. Pain in the butt, but works.
Orgs do have sec features and the CodeQL which standard users don't seem to have yet though.
