@fhoekstra ah! thanks so much, I actially did NOT have that enabled. Ok here's what I did, installed that package pip install py3nvml and restarted the Glances service on Ubuntu, now I clearly see the GPU in Glances

image

However, in HA, I reloaded the integration, but still do not see the GPUs, Do I need to restart HA or something?

Here's soem screenshorts, unless its hiddent behind some device name

Hey there @engrbm87, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (glances) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

@Anto79-ops which glances version are you running on those Ubuntu servers? Can you check the Glances web view, do you see GPU info there?

If you don't see GPU info in the Glances web or terminal view of those servers, make sure to follow the Glances docs to enable GPU monitoring.

If you do see GPU data in Glances itself but not in Home Assistant, I'm very interested in the full details of those Ubuntu hosts so I can investigate: OS version, kernel version, Nvidia driver name and version, Glances version, and whatever else you can dump easily.

Thanks for the detailed info! Not sure why the GPU is still not showing up in Home Assistant.
I'm wondering what happens if you remove the machine from the Glances integration (then maybe restart HA to be sure it's fully gone) and then re-add it. If that does it, it means we need to change the code to check for added Glances modules, or document that step.

Thanks for instructions. Here's what I did, removed the integration, and then restarted HA (actualy, I updated to HAOS 12.3rc1) and the system rebooted. Just to confirm Glances on Ubuntu is working as expected, here what I see when I run Glances in CLI (processes are removed for privacy reasons but can get you full the thing if you wish)

In the photo above, I think you can see the GPUs listed at the top

After adding Glances back into HA, I still don't see the GPU sensors:

Please let me know if you need anymore information thanks.
