Recent changes to the processing code mean an article's code snippets are now extracted from the article and re-integrated with the base code on which the snippets are based, ready to overwrite the original for recommit.
While this allows editing of the code in the GoogleDocs article, there is as yet no way to move the other way, inserting the snippets from the base code back into the article.
So, we're halfway there, but work remains to be done.

Although much code will be useful later the original specification was ill-defined and there was insufficient clarity about the use cases. To be resumed in a proper development context at a later date.
