Latest push (660f00c) in branch clean_api is second attempt to fix this.
I wasn't able to test with sociedades but I saw noticeable improvement in the farmer NPC in mg_villages_npc. Please try and let me know.
If it doesn't work, I know what to do next.

Sorry, I've been a little busy with another mod that I'm preparing for my future server.

Good to know it is fixed.
It is perfectly fine, real life stuff is keeping me busy a lot recently (and will keep doing it for a few weeks) but I always try to get some time for this mod.
