bug in preconfig script - VCS NonIdeal equilibrium solver about cantera HOT 4 CLOSED

I tried to build cantera with the VCS nonideal equilibrium solver on two linux 
computers, using the standard Cantera download. After adding the required line 
to the preconfig file, the make process terminated with errors. The errors are 
likely due to not including <string.h>, since memcpy and other such routines 
were not defined.

The make process works fine now in rev 735. 
To summarize, to enable the VCS solver, in the preconfig file, change "n" to 
"y":
WITH_VCSNONIDEAL=${WITH_VCSNONIDEAL:="y"}
and add to export section:
export WITH_VCSNONIDEAL

Fixed in trunk by the switch to a SCons-based build process.
