Yes, this is on the todo list. Do you have any suggestion when the NEW-mark should vanish? It should be shown when popup pops up but for how long it should stay then?

I would have suggested that it should disappear when you open the list the first time (like the blinking taskbar icon), but maybe it's even easier and more obvious to highlight the "Duration" column (or the contained text) for a time configurable in the settings (e.g. 10 minutes).

Yes, problem is if the marker or bold text (which I would prefer) would disappear at the moment of popping up the window there will be no chance to see. On the other hand, if in fullscreen mode, a line would be marked forever or never. A configurable time - how long an event should be marked - seems to be the best solution. This time should start from first moment when the new eventes have been displayed to the user. Maybe an additional button to confirm new events (not on server) is a good idea.

I think that new events should be noted by the duration time.

You should sort by duration, and teach the ops guys to keep eye in the
newer events

How about a mouse-over/left-click/right-click event per line to remove the new marker?

Would work both in hover and full screen mode.

Well, a first version is now commited which should add a little star symbol to new events - see commit c9f769e. The symbol vanishes after closing the popup (which does not solve the fullscreen problem yet) and still seems to vanish even whith a new automatic refreshing cycle. Thus still raw but kind of working.

If testing please take 76158a8 as the last one missed notification symbols.
