An app built with Vue that uses a few API's to collect data about astronomy related topics and return them to the user. It uses a date-dropdown-component as well as the API's from NASA, spaceflight news and hubblesite.org to collect the information.
This was one of the first apps I made using a server side language. I made the frontend of the main page of the app using Materializecss and by following a tutorial on Youtube by Traversy media. I made the backend functionality for the CRUD section of the app on my own using PHP and MySQL.

A site made with React that uses https://covid19api.com/ to collect data about global and country specific COVID-19 cases and render the data to the browser using chartjs.
Made with React, Typescript and SASS, this app connects to an API and retrieves data from it about various cryptocurrencies and renders them to the browser. It is hosted on AWS using S3 and Cloudfront 😀
An app made using React, React Router, Firebase and Semantic UI to give a history of some common currencies as well as connecting to an API to show their current value. It also has a quiz at the bottom with questions that can be answered by reading the information above.

It uses Node.js and MongoDB for the backend and database to store the user/admin details as well as the gods and React on the frontend with Material UI React for the styling.

Some stuff I thought looked fun to play with/learn
App which retrieves a list of countries/continents from a GQL API and renders them out to the browser depending on the route. Also includes a search bar to search/filter countries and continents.
An app that uses the Pexels API and React to search photos, videos and a random photo from the API. I built it to learnt more about using hooks and the context API to control the data flow in the app. I also learn a bit more about CSS grid as well as sending headers using the fetch Javascript API.
A superhero search app I made to learn more about Typescript, React-Redux and SASS. It uses a API (http://superheroapi.com) to get data about a superhero the user searches for and renders a list of the superheros with that name from various comicbook universes. The user can then click on a specific character to learn more about them.
I made this app when I was first learning PHP and MySQL. It allows the user to register/login. It then shows them a list of Tesla vehicles (some real, some made up) and allows them to create, read, update and delete new ones. For each vehicle, it shows a name, description, price and image.
An app that allows the user to sign up, login and view pollution levels, plan a journey to/from London and view nearby taxis within London. It uses node for the login/sign up functionality and React on the front end to render the data to the client.
A short list of some books I've read recently hosted on S3 and Cloudfront. The books are stored in state, the user can add, edit and delete the books.
A website made with React, TailwindCSS and AWS. Uses AWS Lambda functions to retrieve data about various topics related to web development.
A quiz that requires the user to signup/login and then answer 10 questions about web development. The user receives a score at the end based on how they performed. It uses Firebase for the database and React, React-Router-Dom and the Context API for the client side with Semantic-UI-React for the styling.
