That would be great
Yes, you can send a PR to the following repo:
https://github.com/drone/images
Right now the open source edition and our hosted edition (at drone.io) are two completely different code bases. We'll eventually (hopefully in March) completely replace the hosted version, at which point the images will be sourced from drone/images
from gitness.
So just to get things started, I'm going to
- fork docker/images
- in the builder folder create a compiler folder for D, each compiler version gets a separate folder (if necessary)
- create a Dockerfile for my environment, starting FROM bradrydzewski/base and RUNning all commands necessarry
- add the images and paths to the setup script and clean up after me by adding the images to the cleanup script
Am I missing something? It would be nice for future contributions if there was an image contribution guide in this projects wiki or README file. Maybe the above list can be of help there.
It's also nice to know which images you would advice as a reference. Since drone is using Go, I guess that's the one to peek at when facing the no-plan-valley, right?
from gitness.
I'm going to add a reference to the REAMDE.md in the images repo and am done I guess. I'm also thinking about contributing images for other D compilers, you'll see that popping up as a pull request there 😉
