HBase image shuts down if non-interactive about dockerfiles HOT 2 CLOSED

If you run it in non-interactive mode then the HBase shell will get an EOF and shut down immediately afterwards, after which an HBase shutdown is triggered.

I could change this to make sure HBase remains up open after the Shell closes to make it more suitable for non-interactive containers instead if that makes more sense...

Which HBase image are you using - hbase or hbase-dev?

Also, be aware that there are significant ongoing build issues on the DockerHub build platform which makes publishing updates to these images very difficult at the moment as the builds often fail so getting updates on to DockerHub can take a few days of attempts (dockerhub issue 677 and 720 but I'm working with Docker support so most of it is in emails). You can always build them locally to get the latest fixes.

I've just pushed some updates which should help by not shutting down the container when HBase shell exists (now doesn't both opening the HBase shell if you're not running an interactive docker container.

You can rebuild this yourself now or wait for DockerHub to hopefully catch up (which would require subsequent updates triggering re-builds that actually succeed).
