[Bug]: Load Pack Config Loads Cached Settings? & Sodium Client Mod about serverpackcreator HOT 7 CLOSED

I hope you get well soon. Please do not stress yourself out over this issue. I'll try to help to the best of my abilities.

To prevent issues like this from happening later down the line, I suggest storing your ServerPackCreator configs in a directory other than the ServerPackCreator directory, and then always loading your configuration(s) from there.
That way, you prevent confusion and/or errors when loading a config, as you use and rely on the same source for your configuration every time.

One last thing. If I close SPC and reopen it then the correct version of the configuration loads properly.

1. Config

Have you switch the home directory of ServerPackCreator at any point or stored the config you want to load at another location? It's possible that the two configuration you are encountering are indeed two separate configs, stored at different locations.

In the menu bar of ServerPackCreator, please hit "View" -> "Open installation-directory" and check the serverpackcreator.conf therein.
Then, hit "File" -> "Load configuration" and check whether the path to the configuration you are loading is indeed excalty the same as the previous config. I have a very strong suspicion that you are loading two different configs, one which can be considered old/legacy and the other, which loads when you start ServerPackCreator, which is the new and correct one.

2. Sodium

sodium-fabric is already in the list of clientside-only mods. Iris, however, is not, so I will get on that some time Soon™. Thanks for the report. :)

As for why Sodium is not listed when you load the old version, that's probably due to the reason I stated in 1. Config above. The new config has said entry, the old one doesn't.

3. Save, not Open

On point, that should indeed read "Save". Nice catch, thanks!

Me again,

Iris does not need to be in the list of client-side only mods as it specified itself as being clientside-only. Unless you've disabled ServerPackCreators autodiscovery it will automatically be excluded if no other mod in your pack depends on it in one way or another. :)

Griefed, Thank you for your reply. I have health issues, which is why I have not replied earlier. I think you are correct, but I have not been able to resolve the issue, mostly because of my limited mental capacity during medical flare-ups. If you have any advice, it would be appreciated, otherwise, I will have to wait until I am feeling better to investigate further. Thanks again, CM
