I just created my own db2-docker image based on your image and other available from Internet.
I created a new mechanism to get a valid DB2 link.

I found that you wrote one image to run DB2. I am a DB2 DBA, and based on yours and other images, I create my own set of images.

I would like to invite the people that already create a DB2 docker image to work together for a better solution. Are you interested to work in a common project in the DB2-coders organization to create an image for DB2?

There could be an easier way to download the DB2 binaries.

I know the DB2 installer has to be downloaded from IBM (fixpack central) and the URL is not the same. However, the URL for the download works for several days:
