You should use MapUiSetting to control this behavior.
i.e.
GoogleMap(
// ...
uiSettings = MapUiSettings(mapToolbarEnabled = false)
)It's a similar reason as described in: https://github.com/googlemaps/android-maps-compose#creating-and-configuring-a-map. Looks like this isn't documented though so will get that updated.
