Hi @katopz, did you have an approach that was working in Manifest V2? Using the webRequest
API and the blocking
option you can cancel requests but you aren't able to modify the response body.
One option you could look at is using Declarative Net Request to redirect the request to an extension page.
I'm going to close this since this is the issue tracker for our samples repository, but feel free to ask any follow up questions in the mailing list.
