Yes.  I couldnt reproduce the issue.  Likely that the credentials or the domain 
name
used are incorrect.  could you check your "java/build-samples/build.properties" 
file
for what values are used for

sample.appsforyourdomain.domain

variable and is correct.

Not sure what changed but today it worked. I changed nothing. I'm left to think 
that
some back-office asynch process that enables API access takes more than 48 
hours to
complete. I now consider this issue closed though request that documentation be 
added
to avoid this pain for others.

I am facing the same issue when trying to retrieve Contacts using the APIs. My 
server is NATed to a public IP and only www.google.com, imap.gmail.com:993 & 
smtp.gmail.com:465 is open on the Firewall. Do I need to open any more ports on 
my 
Firewall in order to make the code work?
