Java API inserts only invalid listings which are not searchable in item-type relevant context. about gdata-java-client HOT 8 CLOSED

Thank you for reporting this issue.  We are investigating it., and will try to

back to you ASAP.

Add the following line in your code, before inserting the entry back

entry.getLinks().clear();

Reason:
The original entry has "rel" links which point to the Front end version of the 
entry.
 When the entry is inserted back it still will be referencing to the old entry.  You
have to clear the links before attempting to update the entry.

Let us know if this fixes the problem.

I checked it, now I cannot make it searchable under housing even manualy... I

What is the minimum set of the fields that should be set to make it searchable

housing? Are you making inner joins by all fields included in the minimum set? 
What 
if one of the values is missing? Then nothing found? Could you please point me 
to 
the latest documentation, that describes that minimum set of fields and valid 
values 
for each of them. The Bulk upload section doesn't seem to be up to date. List 
of 
values there differ from the values in the drop down lists on the web form.

under global search where you have all sort of stuff and it's almost useless,

well, about time :) we are not using gdata for half a year already... because of
those unresolved issues...
