Need to use a Gesture detector or onclick listener as a fall back in cases where keyboard detection fails.
The use of a Gesture detector was abandoned in favor of a FocusNode listener. The FocusNode is used to determine when the user has begun interaction with the TextField.
The focus is also manually removed from the TextField when interaction is believed to have ended (ie. When the keyboard is detected to be invisible or when when the user navigates backwards manually)
