crash on Writeline of Json about konsole HOT 2 CLOSED

ok a quick bit of googlefu reveals some goofiness on C#'s part not your code

according to this: Composite Formatting

as found from here on stack overflow

the string.format() method is interpreting the single curly braces in the Json as format placeholders.

If I modify the string like this:

var bar = string.Format("SessionId: -1 receiving json {{\"code\":3837,\"sessionId\":-1,\"payload\":{{\"text\":\"client requesting session id\"}}");

then string.format takes it just fine. Note the doubled {{. Escaping them doesn't work you have to escape using another {.

That's just silly.
