What version of Delve are you using? (SHA is fine).
This is what I get (running go1.4 on debian jessie)
$ dlv -run
Type 'help' for list of commands.
(dlv) b test.go:8
Breakpoint set at 0x400c22 for main.main /home/derek/code/test/test.go:8

Actually, looking at this more you must be running an older version, because the prompt has since changed from dlv > to (dlv). Would you mind building the latest version and seeing if you still experience this problem?

That's right! I deleted and reinstalled and now it works as expected.

By the way, when I tried to "go get github.com/derekparker/delve/cmd/dlv" I got an error:
readline/readline.h: No such file or directory.
I needed to install a dependency (Ubuntu):
sudo apt-get install libreadline-dev
from delve.
