I think this needs a lot of work. Ideally, you would have one Dockerfile per service. For example, 3 Dockerfile files if you have a database, frontend framework, and backend API.

I'm not familiar with Elixir but maybe you could explain the architecture and I could help out.

looks like there were two bounties posted for this!

https://beta.bounties.network/bounty/v1/120
https://beta.bounties.network/bounty/v1/119

@coderberry want to kill one of them via either of the above links?

Work has been started on the 0.05 ETH (36.72 USD @ $734.5/ETH) funding by:

  1. @zoek1

Please work together and coordinate delivery of the issue scope. Gitcoin doesn't know enough about everyones skillsets / free time to say who should work on what, but we trust that the community is smart and well-intentioned enough to work together. As a general rule; if you start work first, youll be at the top of the above list ^^, and should have 'dibs' as long as you follow through.

On the above list? Please leave a comment to let the funder and the other parties involved what you're working, with respect to this issue and your plans to resolve it. If you don't leave a comment, the funder may expire your submission at their discretion.

@owocki I killed the wrong bounty. I will tip the difference on completion.

@styfle it's just a phoenix app. There is no front-end framework. The build should be pretty simple. I believe what I have there is 90% there.. it just needs some polish and the README to be updated.

The application is built using the Phoenix framework (in Elixir)

zoek1 avatar zoek1 commented on May 23, 2024

@codeberry just to clarify:

  1. Download specific app version to build the image or link to local version of the app to being proved in test mode?
  2. Set the environment to test mode
  3. Update README with the respective instructions to run in test mode

@coderberry i've done the last to steps mentioned, but i'm not sure what do you mean by:

to where one can download the application.

Is this only move files to a proper place or any of the before mentioned in the list?

coderberry avatar coderberry commented on May 23, 2024

@zoek1 I apologize for the bounty messups.. I'm re-posting a new bounty now. Please add yourself as the one working on it.

What I mean by to where one can download the application is just that when someone clones the repo, they can get up and running in dev mode with a few simple docker-console commands.

@coderberry I think you mentioned you handled this offline with @zoek1 (great work!). As an FYI, this one is still shown as 'Open' on Gitcoin. May need to kill bounty... cc @owocki
