@tomkralidis as discussed, I sent you an example MCF with multiple referenced MCF files.

Additional comment absent from original request regarding collision handling. Collisions is when param_A is specified both in the actual MCF and the referenced MCF. My hope would be that collisions are allowed and that values in the actual MCF overwrites any pre-specified values in the referenced MCF file.

I confirm it works GREAT. Thanks a bunch. Leaving ticket open until documentation is updated accordingly.
Notes:

  • Multiple sections of an MCF file can refer to the same base_mcf file
  • Collisions: parameters set in the MCF file overwrites the parameters in a base_mcf file
