Support ubuntu 18.04 Bionic? about ansible-role-docker HOT 7 CLOSED

Currently it looks like the Docker repo doesn't have packages available for Bionic; see docker/for-linux#290 (comment)

Hopefully this will be remedied soon. For now they recommend using the Docker installer script (which is not easy to automate with idempotence and doesn't (IIRC) use a package like this role does (so upgrading is... weird)).

I'll leave this ticket open until hopefully early June, when the next CE stable release is out, and it should end up in the Bionic repo.

You can use the edge version instead of stable until stable is released.
docker_apt_release_channel: edge

Yeah... sadly I'm not planning on 'official' support until the stable channel has a new release. C'mon Docker, let's do it :D
