Meant to close this issue much earlier--sorry for the delay! It works now, just had to get a different port working. Also, for anyone experiencing similar sort of issues--look into how you installed MongoDB. Getting that running is by far the hardest part of the install, at least for me. The local install will work as outlined in the instructions.

Hi, it just means you have something already running on port 8080. You can stop it before running this, or change the port this uses (in https://github.com/freeCodeCamp/pantry-for-good/blob/staging/webpack.config.dev.js)
