Hi, what constant did you try to override? In such circumstances, I suppose we need to remove constants from interfaces and add getters instead. So, one should then implement, say, getPositionColumn(). What do you think?

@franzose the constants I tried to override are PARENT_ID and REAL_PATH.

Yes I do agree that that they should be dropped from the interface -- but for this case, why not just set those as class properties?

Such as: protected $parent_id, $real_path; \\ and others .... that can then be overridden in
implementing class(es)?

@delomos, they cannot be implemented as class properties because these properties already used as values.

So, okay, I will drop them and will add methods to the interface and class instead.
