Just dug in a little bit. Added console.log(this.displayName) to both before and afters on my resource. Looks like in the before displayName is correct, but in after it's undefined.

This is actually a bug in ember-json-api, so I will update that. The problem is that Fortune expects all keys to be underscored, so displayName can be defined as such in Fortune and Ember Data, but it becomes display_name over the wire. I forgot to override the serializeAttribute method, so that key was being sent as displayName and not display_name.

I've just fixed it in this commit. Also, I should probably note that keys are automatically underscored somewhere.

Actually I changed my mind. ember-json-api is fine, there is no spec saying that keys should be underscored. It's just a convention that I established in Fortune, so I updated Fortune to convert incoming key names to underscore.

Thanks, I just made it underscore for now and that fixed it.
