Relations (Has many getter) not returning data for rows about forest-express-sequelize HOT 2 CLOSED

I've tried to set the attributes on the include options:

(Had modified HasManyGetter._buildQueryOptions to return the raw queryOptions besides the other options to get access)

And while the fields are properly generated in the SQL, const record = await this._parentModel.findOne(options); in HasManyGetter._getRecords() still returns an empty record.

The only way I could get an actual record was add a delete options.attributes; before calling const record = await this._parentModel.findOne(options);.
I'd have to dig deeper into sequelize to evaluate the behavior but at this stage I'd rather have the rows and the performance penalty of fetching everything than nothing at all ;)

I think I've hit an issue with sequelize itself with the upgrade of our forest admin integration: sequelize/sequelize#13027
Summary: If you use MariaDB and have a JSON field in one of the tables the usage of attributes in combination with relations (hasManyGetter) completely breaks.
I've created a pull request for sequelize: sequelize/sequelize#13273

Closing this, but hope it's a possible pointer if someone struggles with this too.
