I would need some more info as I'm not able to reproduce this issue.
Does this happen when using the category links on both, blog post and for the category plugin?

The categories should work like the tags (filter by tags).
It happens when using category links both on blogposts and the category plugin.
As you can see in the screenshot, the links are just links to the current page, but without any parameters.

I am not able to reproduce this issue. I guess we need to do a screenshare in Order to fix all these "wrong pid" isues.

I've tested this again in a fresh introduction package installation and just set persistence.storagePid and settings.blogsystem.pid and it worked without issues.
