Hmm... I'm still seeing some finicky behavior. Here's an example:
>>product = Product.last
>>reload!
>>product.reload
NoMethodError: You have a nil object when you didn't expect it!
You might have expected an instance of Array.
The error occurred while evaluating nil.include

Sorry for something missed. You can do it as follows temporarily,
>>product = Product.last
>>reload!
>>product = Product.last

It seems that nil.include? is a painful issue for active_record. See https://rails.lighthouseapp.com/projects/8994/tickets/1339, there's a patch attached on that page which can solve your problem.
