Backend Rendering broken in 6.0 about flux HOT 7 CLOSED

Would you mind trying to check out the "5.0-dev" branch of Flux from the Git repo and testing this? The 5.0-dev branch was used on the RC2 package I created - and it definitely should work!

checkt out the branch but same error like before. Maybe thats really a core issue because on forge you'll find the same issue for gridelements. I really thought that 4.7 extensions without deprecation warnings should work through the compatibility layer :(

In fact that I have a close deadline till next saturday I changed the class declaration and the preProcess function to use namespaces. The fact that this works leads me again thinking of a core issue with the compatibility layer.

An update about this one:

Some users have reported that PHP versions at or below 5.3.6 I believe it was, will not be able to correctly alias some classes (which is what the compatibility layer does) when combined with an autoloader and static calls. This could also be why you are not seeing deprecation errors; TYPO3 may not get that far when attempting to load a class that depends on mapping.
