Misunderstanding about pageController context about fluidpages HOT 6 CLOSED

why would you want to add an empty pageController in the first place?

Correct me, but if I don't, the context of the request will be the fluidpages context.
It is an issue for me when I want to use the translate viewhelper, because it reads the request (controllerExtensionName to be precise) to load the right locallang.xml file.
If I don't create my own pageController with the correct actions, the context of the request is wrong.

ok, I see your point. This has been fixed in FluidTYPO3/flux@36d3ad09 and makes a custom page or content controller for this sole purpose unnecessary. I assume you are not on the current master of flux?

I'm running Flux 6.0.1 from TER.
Reading the commit you pointed out, I assume this is exactly related to my story.

Hi @dogawaf !

The current master includes a lot of new features, simplifications and other cool stuff^TM.

In fact, this will be a new major release and because of the rewriting of a tremendous amount of the flux core code, a backport is not as simple as we would like it to be.

I'll close the issue for now, as you know the workaround already.
