It seems like the CommonJS style is more readable (my personal opinion) when there are more dependencies involved. Another bonus is that one doesn't have to worry about the order of dependencies between define
and the callback.

First approach is more popular in open source projects. In my opinion it doesn't make sense to change docs at the moment. Every dev can decide which style to use in his project.
