Unable to load images on windows about directguidesigner HOT 5 CLOSED

Regarding your problem, I currently have no Windows System to test this quickly (will probably have that tomorrow or on Monday) but does this also occur if you provide the image path in a Unix style path as expected by Panda3D? It is also given in the error message, looking like /c/Users/augus/PycharmProjects/...
It's also a little strange that the path it tries to open in the end is just a subset of the actual path which may comes from the windows style path though.

If the path styling is the problem here, then I probably have missed some path conversion somewhere.

I did some investigation, and it seems like there is a path convertion missing in the __createPathProperty method of the properties panel.

In the function selectPath self.browser returns a windows style path:

        def selectPath(confirm):
            if confirm:
                setPath(self.browser.get())
            self.browser.hide()

Something like this seems to fix it for me:

        def selectPath(confirm):
            if confirm:
                value = Filename.fromOsSpecific(self.browser.get())
                value = str(value)
                setPath(value)
            self.browser.hide()

Ah, yes, that makes sense. Thanks for the investigation. Would you maybe create a PR with that? If not, I'll probably get that in in the coming days.
