Hm, no, it should work out of the box. I just tested it on iOS 7 and it works as expected. It does require touch events to work, which is why we pair with the navigation buttons at the top. I’m currently charging my old Android device to retest again.

@zachleat heh I can confirm that Maxthon, Safari and Chrome on iOS 7 work. However chrome nor the default android browser work in 4.4.2 Android. It seems like they should work:

hi,
is there a timeline to fix this? this is a winning feature :-)

Seems to work fine on my Android 2.3 device and on a First-generation Kindle Fire (Android 2.3.4), as well as an Android 4.1 device in Browserstack.

It’s worth noting that there isn’t 1-1 feedback on the swipe gesture. It only toggles visibility of the columns after the swipe gesture is performed.

I’m going to close this until we get further evidence of the issue. Maybe if you have a webcam you can record a video of yourself using the device live?

Just got a new Android device for testing and I can confirm that swipe does not work in Chrome and the default browser.

@scottjehl did some great sleuthing and I think his report here is what’s causing this issue: scottjehl/Device-Bugs#50
