Please download 0.2.1 release and reinstall.

I have 0.2.2 installed and still see small UI elements.

Try remove the Cache folder from $HOME/.config/figma-linux.
If this does not help, then remove figma-linux folder.
I use the nemo, without Cinnamon. I don't use any DE.
