In this case, do you want to create separate class? one for On-Policy and one for Off-Policy? Otherwise the user can also choose whether wants to use SARBuffer.get_sample() - For Off-Policy or SARBuffer.get_all() - For On-Policy. Define this on this on Policy.adapt() . For clearing the buffer also the same, the user can decide this on the Policy.adapt(). For an example, I will create this SAC algorithm which is an Off-Policy algorithm. Then we can compare between SAC (Off-Policy) and A2C (On-Policy).

I agree. I think there is nothing left to do on the model level. I will close the issue...
