I'm going to think about this one. It's a valid use-case, and I want to support it, but I feel like there could be another approach. Maybe nothing better than this one, but I want to investigate.

Yea no problem, I see now why that change alone won't be enough for my use case because the value can easily not change between the last dragged value and when the touch is released. Instead the feature would mess up the TouchPhase.ENDED code by having to send an onChange a final time even if the value didn't change in the liveDragging case which does seem like a hack.

I'd be ok with even having to separately listen on an 'onRelease' for slider that encompasses the touch ended (either from the track or thumb interaction...) seems more direct to the intended use...

I have added onDragStart and onDragEnd signals to Slider. This should give you what you want.
