Okay, so in talking to @secretiverhyme it seems like this /may/ be intended behavior. The method naming suggests an attribute need only be a member of .linkAttributeNames to be treated as a link - and hence, tappable. If being highlight-able is a requirement, a clarifying comment or a clearer API would be much appreciated.

As always, keep filing issues and submitting pull requests here on Github and we will only move things to the new tracker if they require long term coordination.
