iBeacon manufacturer UUID and iOS uuid-form BLE "address" are different things. Expect them to not be identical.

Hi Fredrik,
im trying to find more info on the difference between what IOS returns when performing a BLE scan and what Android does. The uuid returned from IOS when scanning for a device, is this consistant across all IOS devices scanning the same beacon? what is it made up of compared to the actual UUID the beacons are supposed to be advertising ? Is it possible to get the major and minor values out of it ? im stuck as i don't understand if its possible to uniquely identify any beacon you scan ? or do you need to know the specific uuid of what you are looking for ? in that case how do you compare the UUID to the one apple returns to know you have found what you are looking for ?
