I needed this feature as well so I wrote a small python program to convert the csv file to a scr file that I can feed into my CAD program. It may help you in the short term. https://github.com/martst/cadscript

But the fact, that I am not the only one who needs this feature makes me hope, that some programmer might take the time to implement this in the QGIS tool.

from profiletool.

Now (V4.0.3) profiletool can export a line to an autocad 3d polyline. Then you can do a profile like you want in autocad. Reopen the issue if this feature does not match your issue
