No worries. You can also simply set the game path manually. See the new section with your error message in the F.A.Q.

Hello, I'm having some trouble making it run under wine (Steam install), the link is dead. Is there any chance it could be reuploaded? Thanks in advance.

P.S If I try to choose a path like Z:\Steam\steamapps\common\Titan Quest Anniversary Edition I get the error message:
[1] ERROR TQVaultAE.GUI.Program [(null)] - Cannot add a ConfigurationSectionGroup. A section or section group already exists with the name 'userSettings' Any pointing would be appreciated.

Hi @jansuX2,

The original link referred to a piece of code, now reworked to https://github.com/EtienneLamoureux/TQVaultAE/blob/master/src/TQVaultAE.Data/TQDataService.cs.

You can set the game path manually by following the method outlined in the F.A.Q. under "Q. Error Loading Resources. This may be caused by a bad language or game path setting". The latest version of TQVaultAE can be found here. Please note that Wine is not explicitly supported.

From what I understand the issue here is TQVault using Windows Form, porting it to .NET should do the trick. Here's small help how to do it: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/desktop/winforms/migration/?view=netdesktop-5.0

And here some additional read if needed (mostly for Linux users): https://ccifra.github.io/PortingWPFAppsToLinux/Overview.html

Back when I used it, all that could happen was search the TQ installation and save directory. Afterwards nothing happened. You actually "can't" set the directory yourself, because then the program doesn't start anyway. It appears to be a Windows Form issue. This shouldn't be too big of an issue to port. At some point I wanted to do it myself, but I had no time and kind of got used to having extremely limited storage, though not everyone can.

Hope you'll think about it. We're always happy to test if it works, if you decide to port it.
