Hahaha, that was fast! I've actually just created that repository a few hours ago :D

No. This lightweight explorer won't require bigtables to operate.
The Idea is to build a very simplified explorer that is able to display information directly from a standard Beachon Node Api.

However, it's very very far from being ready in any way.
It's currently just a PoC with only the slot details page.
No search, no epoch or slots overview, not even any type of caching.

I don't even think I can build up the epoch/slot overview without some kind of indexer, which summarizes votes & keeps track of the latest blocks.
That indexing obviously involves some sort of backend DB again (thinking about postgres for that).

I've just started this project a week ago as kind of a go learning project.
It'll grow, but don't expect it to be ready in the next weeks :D
