That's probably the simplest way of turning off all log output, yeah.

Will this leave any remaining state that should be cleaned up?

I'm asking because I'm integrating a Rust library using log4rs into a mobile app, and I want to make sure that everything's deinitialized when I'm not using the code anymore :)

There will be a little bit of state left lying around but it should be pretty minimal - maybe somewhere around 100 bytes?

Ok, that should probably be fine.

It would be nice though to have a cleanup function to match init_config though, in case it's easy to implement 🙂

Such a thing existed in log 0.3, but was removed in 0.4 because it imposed a nontrivial cost on every log call.

Ah, in that case it's probably a better tradeoff to just leave the state there :)

Thanks!
