By default the application uses the web map description. To use a custom description add a description item to the config/default.js file and set it to the content you want to display. For example:

//Set the active tool on the toolbar. Note home and locate can't be the active tool.
//Set to "" to display no tools at startup

//Add the geocoding tool next to the title bar.

//When searchExtent is true the locator will prioritize results within the current map extent.
