How to test the model? about pointnet2_pytorch HOT 5 CLOSED

The training scripts also evaluate the model at the end of very epoch. You can also use the flag --visdom to enable logging to visdom which will generate graphs.

There isn't a dedicated script for evaluating the models or visualizing results.

The scripts in tests are integration tests of the code base to make sure everything is still working after changes.

There currently aren't any dedicated evaluation scripts. If you'd like to make one and contribute it, I'd be more than happy to accept that PR.

The https://github.com/erikwijmans/Pointnet2_PyTorch/blob/master/tox.ini shows the commands and dependencies needed for the tests. If you'd just like to run them, you can install tox via pip install tox and then simply executing tox will run all the tests.
