Buildr looks nice and your pitch is definitely appreciated. It's awesome that you want to help contribute, however we're using our in-house compiler Smoosh which has much of the same functionality (packaging, versioning, uglify, jshint, gzip, CLI), and is currently integrated into several of our projects, so it wouldn't make much sense for us to move to something else at this stage of the project. I'll leave this open to @fat if he has other input.
