EMQX Clustering - Message Replication about emqx HOT 4 CLOSED

EMQX v5.7 will include message persistence with Raft-based replication. But there will be a caveat: the first release of this feature will only ensure that a message seen by one subscriber will be seen by other subscribers to the same topic. In the first iteration of the feature, from the publisher's point of the view the messages still MAY be lost. Giving stronger guarantees to the publisher (i.e. delaying PUBACK until the message is persisted on N replicas) is on the roadmap.

could you describe in which scenario you get data loss?

Based on image below, at step 3: Routing, what if node 1 goes down before the message is routed? My understanding is that the message will be lost right?
